A big congratulations to all who took part in the Cross Country run. On a beautiful sunny Sunday 134 people took part in the 4.5km run over ditches, through bogs and across the river, through the forest and up the hill and then the long stretch through 4 fields back home. The first 4 home were Paul Gibbons, Dean Fenlon, Conaill Cooper and Larry Murphy. A huge big thank you to all who helped out on the day, stewards, photographers etc. We are now in training for the next event – The big Cycle.
Tomorrow at 2 p.m. the much anticipated Cross Country Run takes place. The course is marked out and ready to go. Weather forecast is good for tomorrow although the ground is expected to be soft. This is the first task set for the teams and it is anticipated that a large crowd will take part. Good luck to all the teams.
